Academic credits

The one-day conference on 7 May 2025 has been pre-approved by the Norwegian Medical Association, the Norwegian Psychological Association and the Norwegian Nurses Association. The Norwegian Association of Occupational Therapists and the Norwegian Association of Physiotherapists have approved that members can apply for individual approval.

The Norwegian Medical Association

Approved with 8 elective points for doctors in specialisation and specialists' continuing education.

"The course contributes to covering the following learning objectives in the new specialist scheme: ALM-056, ALM-057, ALM-058, ALM-059, ALM-060, ALM-061, ALM-062, ALM-027, ALM-028, ALM-029, ALM-030, ALM-031, ALM-032, ALM-033, ALM-034, ALM-035, ALM-036, ALM-037, ALM-038, ALM-039, ALM-040, ALM-04."

Norwegian Psychological Association

Approved as a maintenance course for psychology specialists with 8 hours.

"The course ME/CFS and Long Covid - Digging Deeper is approved by the Norwegian Psychological Association as a maintenance course for specialists with 8 hours. The course is approved for 2 years in the period from 22.09.2024 to 21.09.2026, if content and scope are unchanged."

Norwegian Association of Occupational Therapists - Ergoterapeutene

Occupational therapists can apply for authorisation.

"Occupational therapists who participate in the course can use the course in their specialist application - and especially with a view to renewed recognition. They then justify the relevance to occupational therapy and the specialist area themselves and document with a course certificate [and] programme."

Norwegian Nurses Association

Approved with 6 hours for clinical specialists in nursing/specialised nursing.

"The course is approved by NSF as meritorious with a total of 6 hours. This can be used in accordance with the course hour requirement in NSF's approval scheme clinical specialist in nursing/speciality nursing.

The approval is valid for two years if lecturers with equivalent expertise are used and the course programme retains equivalent professional content."

Norwegian Association of Physiotherapists

Physiotherapists can apply for authorisation.

"The conference may be counted when physiotherapists apply for renewed recognition, provided that it is relevant to the speciality of the individual physiotherapist."
